Description
Select 1893-O Morgan Dollar
Challenging, Low-Mintage Date
1893-O $1 MS63 NGC. The 1893-O Morgan dollar boasts a low
mintage of 300,000 pieces, and high quality examples are elusive.
The present coin exhibits sharp details in most areas, but just a
touch of softness shows on the hair above Liberty's ear. Mint
luster is a strength of this specimen, with a vibrant, frosty
obverse, and reflective, semiprooflike reverse. Q. David Bowers
considers MS63 the Optimal Collecting Grade.(Registry values: P8, N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 255T, PCGS# 7224, GSID# 7612)
