1893-S Morgan Dollar, Fine Details
Surprisingly Pleasing
1893-S $1 -- Damage -- PCGS Genuine. Fine Details. The key
date in the Morgan dollar series is widely sought after in just
about every grade, and even impaired pieces find ready homes. This
is a surprisingly pleasing Fine-level example with strong details
and uniform slate-gray and tan patina. Much of each side is smooth,
although a small gouge in the reverse field above WE prevents a
numeric grade from PCGS. This is a coin that will present well in a
collection of circulated Morgans.
