Description
1893-S Morgan Dollar, Fine 12
Low Mintage S-Mint Key Date
1893-S $1 Fine 12 ANACS. The 1893-S Morgan dollar is the key
to the set of circulation strike coins, having a mintage of just
100,000 coins. Apparently most or all of those coins entered
circulation out west, judging from the condition of surviving
examples. This piece has antique-gray surfaces with highlights of
amber patina and scattered marks of little consequence. The design
elements are complete in outline and much interior detail remains
intact.(Registry values: P10, N1)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 255U, PCGS# 7226, Greysheet# 7614)
