Description

1893-S $1 Genuine PCGS. The PCGS number ending in .98 suggests Damage as the reason, or perhaps one of the reasons, that PCGS deemed this coin not gradable. In our opinion, this coin has the details of a Good specimen that has been damaged and cleaned. The damage is confined to the reverse rim, which has a few small dings and shallow circular impressions at 5:30 and 12 o'clock. Cream-gray overall with suggestions of tan-gold and lilac toning.(Registry values: P10, N10)
