Low Mintage S-Mint Key Date

1893-S $1 VG10 PCGS. This evenly worn, slate-gray example from the key San Francisco issue exhibits pleasing detail for the grade. Faint wisps of satiny champagne appear throughout and add to an overall pleasing eye appeal. Light contact marks are well-tempered and are not bothersome. The 1893-S is sought-after in all grades, and lower circulated examples like this VG10 provide budget-friendly alternatives. This is an ideal collector-grade piece.(Registry values: P10, N1)
