1894 $1 --Improperly Cleaned--NCS. VF Details. The 1894 had a relatively low mintage of 110,000 pieces, which ranks it among the scarcest of all Morgan dollars. Cleaning has left the surfaces pale silver-gray, and there are several shallow nicks on Liberty's cheek and neck. Nonetheless, this piece is a well-detailed and affordable example of this key date.
