Description
Desirable 1894 Dollar, MS64
1894 $1 MS61 NGC. Satiny silver-gray surfaces take on an occasional wisp of olive-green color around some of the design elements of this 1894 dollar. Adequately struck, with softness noted in the hair over Liberty's ear. Several luster grazes are visible, especially on the obverse. David Bowers writes that "A few bags were released in the 1950s and early 1960s. Quantities are virtually unheard of in the present market."(Registry values: P8, N1793)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 255V, PCGS# 7228, GSID# 7578)
