Description

Scarce, Low Mintage 1894 Morgan Dollar MS62

1894 $1 MS62 ANACS. The 1894 Morgan dollar may not be immediately thought of as an important key date in the series, but perhaps it should be. It is certainly a key date among the Philadelphia Mint issues; with the lowest Morgan dollar mintage ever seen at that facility. This example is well struck and lustrous, with attractive light peripheral patina and minor marks for the grade. Perhaps even a candidate for a one-point upgrade.
