Description

Difficult MS62 1894 Silver Dollar

1894 $1 MS62 PCGS. Among P-mint Morgans, only the 1895 has a lower mintage than the 1894. In fact, among business strikes of the series, only the 1893-S has a lesser production. Thus, demand for the 1894 is considerable, even in well circulated grades. But the present faintly toned example has vibrant luster, and the lightly abraded surfaces approach the Select designation. Housed in a green label holder.(Registry values: P8, N1793)
