1894-S $1 MS63 NGC. Both sides have bands of gold-orange and bronze patina at the margins, while the highly lustrous obverse has a thin ring of violet as well. A well-defined, lightly abraded example of this interesting S-mint issue, which has a mintage of just 1.26 million pieces.(Registry values: P6, N991)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 255X, PCGS# 7232, GSID# 7618)
