1894-S $1 MS64 PCGS. VAM-12....
Description
1894-S Silver Dollar, MS64
Attractive Branch Mint Morgan
1894-S $1 MS64 PCGS. VAM-12. This is the 'worm eye' variety
with a vertical die gouge at eye front, along with a high S
mintmark. Fully brilliant and radiantly lustered, this Choice
Uncirculated example produces a delightful cartwheel effect that
complements an overall wonderful eye appeal. Some central strike
softness on the hair above Liberty's ear is typical of this semikey
date. A loupe reveals light roller marks on some of the high points
in the relief (as struck). A few faint grazes on both sides prevent
Gem classification.(Registry values: P6, N1793)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 255X, PCGS# 7232, Greysheet# 7618)
