Description
1895-O Morgan, AU55 Prooflike
Elusive With Mirrored Fields
1895-O $1 AU55 Prooflike NGC. The gleaming, Prooflike fields
of this Choice AU 1895-O Morgan set it apart from most other
examples of this elusive New Orleans issue. Moreover, the design
elements are uncommonly well-defined, and high-point wear is
minimal. The obverse is largely sun-gold with a few small splashes
of aqua-blue, while the reverse is almost entirely consumed by the
latter color. Census: 24 in 55 Prooflike, 38 finer (5/15).(Registry values: P9, N991)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 255Y, PCGS# 7237, GSID# 7621)
