Impressive Contrast
1895-S $1 MS61 Prooflike PCGS. Myriad marks on each side of
this lovely prooflike silver dollar limit the grade. The surfaces
are brilliant and untoned with a high degree of field-to-device
contrast. Wisps of gold toning enhance the overall aesthetic appeal
of this important piece that features a normal mintmark. PCGS has
certified 7,000 1895-S Morgan dollars, a total that includes just
101 Prooflike coins and 40 Deep Mirror Prooflike examples
