Description
Vibrant MS62 1895-S Dollar
1895-S $1 MS62 PCGS. VAM-3. A Hot 50 Variety. The initial mintmark was entered too high with an extraordinary slant to the left, and was only partially effaced before a second mintmark was better placed. Of course, any Mint State '95-S dollar is desirable, since just 400,000 pieces were struck. This lustrous and boldly struck example has light obverse tan toning and a smattering of small marks on the portrait.(Registry values: P8, N1793)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 255Z, PCGS# 7238, GSID# 7622)
