Shimmering 1895-S Morgan, MS64

1895-S $1 MS64 PCGS. Three mints coined Morgan dollars in 1895, but only proofs were coined in Philadelphia. For those collectors who desire just one Morgan from each year of issue, the 1895-O is best in circulated grades, and the 1895-S is best in Mint State grades. This Choice example has frosty luster with a trace of light golden toning at the right obverse border. PCGS has only certified 29 finer pieces (4/09).(Registry values: P8, N2998)
