Lustrous 1895-S Dollar, MS64
1895-S $1 MS64 PCGS. The 1895-S is one of the key issues among San Francisco Mint Morgan dollars. Hints of light tan-gold color are visible under magnification on the lustrous surfaces of this near-Gem specimen. Well impressed except for minor softness in the obverse center. Light grazes preclude Gem status. PCGS has seen only 31 pieces finer (2/10).From The JTR Collection.(Registry values: P8, N2998)
