Choice 1895-S Morgan Dollar
Seldom Encountered in Higher Grades
1895-S $1 MS64 PCGS. The 1895-S Morgan dollar is a
low-mintage date, with a reported production figure of 400,000
pieces. Examples in Choice condition are scarce, and any finer
grade is rare. The present coin is sharply detailed in most areas,
but a little softness is evident on the hair above the ear. The
surfaces are brightly lustrous, with traces of champagne toning.
