Description

1895-S $1 MS64 PCGS. Mint State 1895-S dollars are usually heavily bagmarked, presumably from rough handling while in treasury storage. The near-Gem specimen for sale in this lot, while displaying a few minor marks that prevent full Gem status, still retains a high level of eye appeal. Pleasing luster exudes from untoned surfaces that exhibit sharply struck design elements.
