Description
1896-O $1 MS61 ANACS. The 1896-O Morgan dollar is among the most elusive O-mint series issues to obtain with well-struck, lustrous, unabraded surfaces. The present piece offers generous luster, but scattered moderate abrasions dot both sides, defining the grade. The silver-white surfaces show just a couple of dots of copper-gold color, mostly around the reverse lower rim.(Registry values: P9, N1793)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 2563, PCGS# 7242, GSID# 7624)
