Description
Conditionally Scarce 1896-O Morgan Dollar MS62
1896-O $1 MS62 PCGS. Well struck save for typical minor softness near the centers. This piece also displays fine satin luster that seems a bit better than average, for the issue. Pale gold toning near the peripheries attractively frames the creamy, untoned centers. This issue is relatively scarce at the current grade level, considering its high mintage of 4.9 million pieces, and becomes rare any finer than MS63.
