MS63 1896-O Dollar, An Important Condition Rarity
1896-O $1 MS63 PCGS. This conditionally rare O-mint Morgan has golden-brown borders and cream-gray fields and devices. The satiny surfaces are clean for the grade, and the reverse on its own has the look of a finer grade. The strike is slightly soft on the eagle's breast, customary for New Orleans dollars from this era.(Registry values: P9, N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 2563, PCGS# 7242, GSID# 7624)
