Description
Lustrous MS62 1896-S Dollar
1896-S $1 MS62 PCGS. A brightly lustrous and minimally toned Mint State example of this popular and surprisingly challenging San Francisco issue. Strong definition everywhere save for the year over Liberty's ear, which is a touch soft. Wispy abrasions and a few deeper marks, particularly those present on the portrait, account for the grade.(Registry values: P7, N1793)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 2564, PCGS# 7244, GSID# 7627)
