1897 $1 MS65 Deep Mirror Prooflike PCGS. This Morgan dollar issue is plentiful in Mint State grades, even through the Gem level or finer. However, its availability in Deep Mirror Prooflike is quite the opposite. The date is a rarity in all prooflike grades. Housed in a green label PCGS holder, this example is brilliant and attractive with only slight marks on each side.
