Conditionally Elusive 1897-O Morgan Dollar MS63
1897-O $1 MS63 NGC. A light layer of creamy, opaque pinkish-gray coloration over each side is imbued with lovely underlying accents of steel-blue. The design elements are sharply struck throughout, including the hair detail above Liberty's ear and the eagle's breast feathers. This is a surprisingly scarce issue at the Select Mint State level, despite its original mintage of just over four million coins.
