Sharp 1898 Dollar, MS67
1898 $1 MS67 NGC. With a large original mintage approaching 6 million pieces, the 1898 Morgan is readily available in all grades up to the MS65 level. At the Premium Gem level, the issue is scarce, and only about 40 coins have been certified at the Superb Gem level by NGC and PCGS combined (2/10). Intense luster and a solid strike endow this well preserved MS67. An occasional wisp of light tan color shows under magnification.From The JTR Collection.(Registry values: P2, N4719)
