1898-O $1 MS67 PCGS. Radiant luster emanates from the untoned, impeccably preserved surfaces of this O-mint Superb Gem. Nicely struck save for minor softness in the hair over the ear. David Bowers (2006) estimates that probably more than 3 million of the 4.440 million-piece production was melted.(Registry values: P1, N1793)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 2569, PCGS# 7254, GSID# 7633)
