Description

1898-S $1 MS64 PCGS. Despite a mintage of just over 4.1 million pieces, the 1898-S proves challenging in better Mint State grades, as most examples were paid out and collectors were slow to realize the comparative lack of Choice and better pieces. This minimally marked and well struck example has only a hint of patina and flashy luster.(Registry values: P5, N991)
