1899 $1 MS65 Prooflike NGC. A semi-scarce date that has always been popular because of its low circulation strike mintage of 333,000 pieces. High-grade Prooflike examples are even more desirable. A sharply struck, well preserved coin with reddish-gold peripheral toning that is deeper on the reverse.
