Description
1899-S $1 MS65 PCGS. While available in the lower grades of Uncirculated, the 1899-S is scarce in Gem condition. This is a sharp, but not quite fully struck example that has a few small grease stains on Liberty's cheek that were present when the coin was struck. Excellent luster characteristics, as always, both sides are mostly brilliant with just the slightest hint of golden-brown patina at the margins.(Registry values: P5, N1793)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 256D, PCGS# 7262, GSID# 7639)
