Description

1899-S $1 MS66 PCGS. Whispers of light tan and gray patina appear over the lustrous surfaces of this Premium Gem, especially on the reverse, and the design features are generally well-impressed, save for typical minor softness on the hair above Liberty's ear. A nicely preserved piece from an issue that becomes challenging in Premium Gem and is conditionally rare any finer. PCGS reports only 16 numerically finer submissions in non-Prooflike (3/26).
