Exemplary 1899-S Morgan Dollar, MS66
1899-S $1 MS66 PCGS. The Premium Gem level is nearly the finest quality obtainable for this issue despite its mintage exceeding 2.5 million coins. NGC and PCGS combined have certified only nine in finer grade, counting duplicates. This specimen offers exuberant luster flowing from each side, with largely silver-white surfaces accented with a touch of color near the rims. Except for minor strike weakness on the hair above the ear, the surfaces are exemplary and exceptionally clean overall.
