1900 Silver Dollar, MS67+
High-End CAC Registry Coin
1900 $1 MS67+ PCGS. CAC. The Condition Census of 1900
Philadelphia silver dollars at PCGS consists of a lone MS68 coin
and 15 MS67+ pieces. No Prooflike or Deep Mirror Prooflike pieces
are reported this fine at that service (9/25). We have previously
handled an MS67+ example on only six occasions, representing just
five coins. Of those, four were PCGS-certified, and three were CAC
endorsed. This piece displays brilliant cartwheel luster and
exceptionally bold definition, with near-flawless preservation.
Only a few faint grazes are discernible beneath a loupe.
Registry-grade 1900 Morgan dollars are seldom seen this fine. CAC:
