Bright MS63 1901 Dollar
1901 $1 MS63 NGC. Bright luster exudes from both sides of this Select Morgan. The design elements are better struck than ordinarily seen, though the centers reveal some softness. Untoned surfaces show a few minor grazes and marks. Most of the nearly 7 million-piece mintage was apparently melted under the 1918 Pittman Act.(Registry values: P9, N4719)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 256J, PCGS# 7272, GSID# 7590)
