Description
Important Gem 1903-S Morgan Dollar
1903-S $1 MS65 PCGS. The intense luster quality, combined with lovely red-brown peripheral toning on both sides, virtually ensures the superior eye appeal of this coin. Typically well struck, with only a few surface marks, this example is an unquestioned Gem. According to Bowers: "Most 1903-S dollars are well struck, lustrous, and quite beautiful. The main problem is that there are not enough coins to satisfy the demand, and the issue has become high priced. This is an important, key issue."(Registry values: P7, N4719)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 256T, PCGS# 7288, GSID# 7660)
