Description
1904-S Morgan Dollar, MS62+
Challenging Late Series Issue
1904-S $1 MS62+ PCGS Secure. The present coin is an
attractive MS62+ example of this elusive San Francisco date. The
mostly brilliant surfaces show just a hint of light golden toning
and the vibrant, frosty mint luster creates strong eye appeal. The
devices show a touch of softness on the hair above Liberty's ear
and on the eagle's breast, but the strike is sharp in other areas.
A long, shallow scratch through the eagle's wing explains the
grade. The high-end status of this coin is confirmed by the plus
designation.(Registry values: P7, N1793)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 256W, PCGS# 7294, GSID# 7666)
