1904-S $1 MS64 PCGS....
Description
1904-S Morgan Dollar, MS64
Comparatively Rare in Mint State
1904-S $1 MS64 PCGS. Mustard-infused silver surfaces contain
sage, sky-blue, and charcoal highlights. Minimal weakness is
present and is confined to the obverse. Only a few errant nicks are
present on the cheek. Mint State pieces are relatively scarce for
this issue, as examples were paid out into circulation well into
the 1940s and heavily scattered. One contemporary dealer stated
that the only S-Mint dollar bags he had not handled were this date,
along with the much rarer 1892-S and 1893-S.(Registry values: P7, N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 256W, PCGS# 7294, Greysheet# 7666)
