Description

Scarce 1904-S Silver Dollar, MS64

1904-S $1 MS64 PCGS. Silver dollars circulated in the West, which had a tradition of hard money prior to World War I. This tradition explains why later S-mint issues are elusive in Mint State: they were welcome in commerce. The present lustrous near-Gem has delicate honey patina and a nice strike.
