    Description

    1904-S Morgan, MS64 Prooflike
    Rare With Reflective Fields
    First Generation PCGS Holder

1904-S $1 MS64 Prooflike PCGS. The 1904-S is among the most challenging issues in the Morgan dollar series in Prooflike quality. Such coins are rare, with only 29 reported in all grades at PCGS, and no Deep Mirror Prooflike pieces are listed at that service (5/21). The present coin displays brilliant, appreciably reflective fields, with satiny luster across the devices. Slight strike softness on the hair above Liberty's ear is normal, but the eagle's breast is well defined. Housed in a first generation "rattler" holder. Population: 11 in 64 (1 in 64+), 4 finer (5/21).(Registry values: P7, N2998)

    Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 256W, PCGS# 7295)
