1921-D $1 MS67 ★ NGC. The 1921-D, sporting a mintage exceeding 20 million pieces, is readily available through MS65. Premium Gems are scarce and anything finer is elusive. This particular Superb Gem is made even rarer by the NGC Star designation. Delicate cobalt-blue, lavender, violet, and orange patination runs over the highly lustrous surfaces of this magnificent specimen and a well executed strike imparts excellent detail to the design features.
