1879-S $1 Reverse of 1878 MS65 PCGS. A hint of barely detectable reflectivity in the fields amplifies radiant cartwheel luster on this Gem Reverse of 1878 dollar. Sharp design elements and untoned surfaces show only a few light, scattered abrasions. Eye appeal is excellent. The Reverse of 1878 variety is scarce in this grade and nearly unknown finer. Population (Reverse of 1878): 64 in 65 (3 in 65+), 1 finer; 2 in 65 Prooflike, 0 finer (11/18).
