Description

1880-CC Morgan Dollar, MS66+
Popular Carson City Issue

1880-CC $1 MS66+ PCGS. VAM-3A. A Super CD Variety. The clashed die state of VAM-3, noted for its die rust near the mintmark. This is a thoroughly lustrous and well-preserved Carson City dollar. Only a trace of tan toning is apparent, and the coin presents as brilliant at first glance. The strike is crisp except on the hair above the ear, where some typical softness is noted.(Registry values: P4, N1793)
