Description

1881-CC Dollar, MS67
Scintillating Cartwheel Luster

1881-CC $1 MS67 NGC. One can just imagine this brilliant Superb Gem dollar falling from a Carson City press 137 years ago looked exactly as it does now -- untoned with swirling cartwheel luster and virtually no marks to speak of. Fully rendered motifs and smooth, scintillating fields are readily appealing. NGC reports four finer submissions (6/18).(Registry values: P4, N2998)
