    Description

1885-CC $1 MS66 PCGS. The faintest trace of light golden tinting warms the frosted, vibrant luster of this high-end 1885-CC dollar. Strike sharpness is excellent, with only trivial softness of the feathers on the eagle's breast. Liberty's cheek is nearly flawless, as are the fields. The 1885-CC benefited from the GSA sales of the 1970s. Of the 228,000 coins struck, more than 148,000 were dispersed through the General Services Administration.(Registry values: P4, N1793) (NGC ID# 254S, PCGS# 7160)
