    Frosty 1886-O Morgan Dollar

    1886-O $1 MS63 PCGS. The 1886-O is one of several condition rarities in the Morgan dollar series. In this instance, more than 10 million pieces were struck, but few were saved. Nearly the entire mintage went into circulation, or was placed in the melting pot under terms of the Pittman Act of 1918. This lovely piece has frosty silver luster with a hint of pale gold toning along the obverse and reverse borders.(Registry values: P8, N1793)
