Select Uncirculated 1889-CC Dollar, A Lustrous, Problem-Free Example

1889-CC $1 MS63 NGC. The 1889-CC is the rarest of all the Carson City Dollars, and as such it is a highly sought out issue. However, it is also one of the five rarest issues in the Morgan Dollar series. That list also includes such notables as the 1884-S, 1892-S, 1893-S, and 1901-P. This sharply struck coin is brilliant throughout and shows bright, glistening mint luster. A few light abrasions are scattered over the obverse, but the reverse is largely free from post-striking impairments. Population: 35 in 63, 28 finer (1/02). (NGC ID# 2559, PCGS# 7190)

    Weight: 26.73 grams

    Metal: 90% Silver, 10% Copper
