Description
French Protectorate Complete Silver Date Collection, all 93 coins struck in silver during the period of French influence in Morocco, 1881-1934AD. This is an extremely difficult set to assemble and comprises the fourth and final date collection put together by a French doctor in Morocco in the 1970's and includes the best examples available for each date and mint. Additionally, none of the coins in this group have been mounted or damaged which is highly unusual! Grades are mostly Fine to XF, some have been cleaned at one time and are now toning. The total retail value of the 93 coins is approximately $2000.
