    Description

Wood River, NE - $10 1902 Date Back Fr. 618 The First NB Ch. # 3939
The only Wood River national bank and an institution that succumbed quickly to the Depression, being liquidated in November, 1930. Consequently, it is small size notes that are particularly scarce from this Hall County location. The well centered Date Back here has the crispness of XF, but a multitude of light stains keeps it netted at the Very Fine level.
