Middelburg. Provincial Siege silver Uniface Klippe Daalder (36 Stuivers) 1572-Dated AU50 NGC, Middelburg mint, CNM-2.35.1, Delm-165. 29.26gm. Struck during the siege of Middelburg as part of the Eighty Years War when the Spanish controlled the city. Well-struck with charcoal dark surfaces that give off the impression of a smooth texture in the fields. Accompanied by Etienne Bourgey tag.Metal: Silver
