Description

Friesland. Provincial gold Specimen Pattern 30 Stuivers 1682 SP61 PCGS, KM-Pn15, Delm-1018 (R4), Vanhoudt/Saunders-1481. Design similar to KM66. A highly unusual off-metal strike and the first seen at major auction since 2016, likely intended to serve as a presentation piece for a distinguished individual, and subsequently preserved in immaculate condition. Flares of red percolate to the reflective surfaces that play host to fully rendered devices. This is the sole example certified at either major service and likely the only opportunity in the near future to capture this unicorn type.
