    Description

Gorinchem. City gold Imitative Rose Noble ND (1583-1591) AU55 NGC, Fr-80, S-1952, Schneider-848. 7.54gm. Struck in imitation of the gold Ryal (Rose Noble) coinage of Edward IV. A well-produced emission with careful attention given to its prototype, the legends correctly and evenly cut without retrograde letters and no signs of doubling. Some minor flan cracks are noted for accuracy, but appear to pose little threat to the coin's integrity.
